The hexagon is one of the most perfect shapes found in nature, seen in honeycombs, in (snow)crystals, in the structure of basalt rock. The Hexagonum brings that shape into your home, crafted from solid European oak with its warm grain and timeless character.
The piece is built from 3 diamond-shaped sections, each turned at an angle to the others, and each made up of 6 individual parts, all brought together into one solid hexagon. Handmade and finished with 100% natural hardwax oil, a finish that brings out the unique grain and colour variations while protecting the wood. The finish is food safe. It’s best to clean the board by hand, rather than in a dishwasher. No two pieces are exactly alike, thanks to the natural character of the wood.
Use it as a decorative tray on a side table, windowsill or sideboard. Or serve your guests snacks on it. Or let it hold a tealight, a small plant, or a beautifully shaped piece of driftwood.
