Sometimes a space calls for something truly one of a kind. A light that fits perfectly above your dining table. An art object that becomes the centrepiece of your living room. Or a design you’ve been carrying in your mind for years, waiting to finally come to life.
That’s where custom work begins.
I love thinking along with you — from the first sketch to the finished piece that finds its place in your home. Together we talk through your wishes, the possibilities of the material, and how we can make something that is truly yours.
Of course, it’s also perfectly easy to have an existing product made just a little differently. Perhaps in a different orientation, size or finish.

I’ll get in touch to talk through your idea. Together we explore the possibilities, dimensions, materials and finish. You’ll come away with a clear picture of what’s achievable.
A tailored quote
After our conversation you’ll receive a no-obligation quote with the price, lead time and a description of the design. No surprises further down the line.
Creation in the studio
Once you give the go-ahead, I get to work. With care, time and respect for the material, I craft your piece. Along the way I’m happy to keep you updated on progress.

From idea to image — before the first cut is made
Not every project calls for a detailed digital design or light simulation — sometimes a sketch is enough and the materials and result speak for themselves. But when your idea asks for it, I can bring your design to life digitally first using CAD software.
You’ll see the object from every angle, with the right proportions and details. For lamps with a distinctive lighting design, a light simulation shows you in advance how the light will fall through and around the wood. The shadow lines on your wall, the silhouette that appears when the lamp comes on, the atmosphere that will fill your room.
We’ll discuss together what makes sense for your project; any design costs will be included in the quote upfront.

A custom request is always without obligation. You’re not committed to anything until you approve the quote.
Lead time
Lead time varies depending on the design and complexity, typically one to several weeks.
Payment
Once the quote is approved, I ask for a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due upon completion. See the terms and conditions for full payment details.
Returns
