The hexagon is one of the most perfect shapes found in nature — you see it in honeycombs, in (snow)crystals, in the structure of basalt rock. The Hexaris brings that shape into your interior, crafted from solid European oak with its warm grain and timeless character.
The piece is built from 12 equal diamond-shaped sections. The central 6 diamonds form a star. Together they create the hexagon. Handmade and finished with 100% natural hardwax oil, a finish that beautifully brings out the unique grain and colour variations while also protecting the wood. The finish is food-safe. The board is best cleaned by hand; please avoid the dishwasher. No two pieces are exactly alike, thanks to the natural wood grain.
Use it, for example, as a decorative tray, on a side table, windowsill or sideboard. Or serve your guests some snacks on it. Or use it as a display spot for a tealight holder, a small plant, or a beautifully found piece of driftwood. Or simply place it down, just because it deserves to be seen.
