The Quercus line
This lamp is part of the Quercus line. Quercus, Latin for oak, is a line where the wood itself takes centre stage. The design serves the material, not the other way around. The minimalist shape is a deliberate choice, allowing the natural grain, warm tones and character of the oak to fully shine through. The Igual is a square-shaped wall lamp (26 x 26 cm). It shares the same height as the Alta, but is wider. The golden ratio has been applied to its proportions, giving it a naturally harmonious look.LED lighting
The lamp features two LED light sources, one facing upward and one facing downward. Together they produce 680 lumens of warm white light (3000K), while using just 6.4 watts. That makes this lamp remarkably energy efficient. Dimming works effortlessly with a standard LED dimmer (not included). If you’d like to replace the light sources later on, that’s easy to do too, as the lamp uses G9 LED bulbs which are widely available, including at hardware stores.Finish
The finish, made with 100% natural hardwax oil, beautifully brings out the natural grain of the wood and protects it for years of enjoyment. This oil is food-safe and is also used on cutting boards, keeping the lamp a truly natural product.

The oak tells its own story. The warm tones, the unique grain and patterns, the subtle shifts in colour: no two pieces are ever exactly alike. That’s the beauty of natural material. One piece might have a striking knot, another might not, so feel free to let us know if you have a preference. Whatever you receive, it will always be a one-of-a-kind piece.
Colour temperature
The two LED light sources in the lamp have a colour temperature of 3000 Kelvin. To give you an idea of what 3000 Kelvin means in terms of light colour, you’ll find a scale below showing different colour temperatures. The indicator shows where 3,000 Kelvin sits on this scale, known as warm white light, ideal for creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere at home.

French Cleat Mounting System
This lamp is designed with a French cleat mounting system, a clever, reliable method that ensures your lamp hangs securely and perfectly level on the wall.
How does it work?
The system consists of two parts: a wall bracket that you fix to the wall with screws, and a matching cleat attached to the back of the lamp. Once the wall bracket is level, you simply hook the lamp onto it. The lamp then hangs flush against the wall, with no visible mounting marks.
What’s included?
This lamp comes with the wall bracket, including all mounting hardware. With a spirit level, a pencil and a drill, you’ll have the lamp safely mounted on the wall within minutes.
Connection & Power Cable
The lamp comes with a two-pole connector for direct connection to 230V. It’s designed to be wired directly to a fixed power point in the wall, the traditional way wall lamps are connected.
Prefer to connect via a wall socket?
That’s possible. If there’s no fixed connection point available, or you’d like the flexibility to move the lamp, a standard power cable can be included. You can indicate this at the top of this page, just before adding the lamp to your cart. This is a standard black plastic power cable with a black plug.
I also offer stylish fabric cables. These cables combine functionality with a warm look that suits the character of the lamp. The fabric cables are available in various colours, so you can choose the one that best fits your interior.

Keeping your lamp beautiful
- Place in a room with humidity between 35% and 60% RH
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- Remove dust with a dry cloth
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or water
