The Quercus line
This lamp is part of the Quercus line. Quercus, Latin for oak, is a line where the wood itself takes centre stage. The design serves the material, not the other way around. The minimalist shape is a deliberate choice, letting the natural grain, warm tones and character of the oak wood come fully into their own. The Alta is a slender, vertically shaped wall lamp (26 x 16 cm). It shares the same height as the Igual, but is narrower. The golden ratio has been applied to its proportions, giving it a harmonious appearance.LED lighting
The lamp features two LED light sources, one facing upward, one facing downward. Together they produce 680 lumens of warm white light (3000K), while using just 6.4 watts. That makes this lamp remarkably energy efficient. It dims effortlessly with a standard LED dimmer (not included). Should you ever want to replace the light sources, that’s easy too, the lamp uses G9 LED bulbs, which are widely available, including at hardware stores.Finish
The finish, made with 100% natural hardwax oil, beautifully brings out the natural grain of the wood and protects it for years of enjoyment. This oil is food-safe and is also used on cutting boards, keeping the lamp a truly natural product.
Every piece is unique
The oak wood tells its own story. The warm tones, the unique grain and patterns, the subtle colour variations, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. That is the beauty of natural material. One piece might show a striking knot, another might not, feel free to let me know if you have a preference. What you receive will always be a one-of-a-kind piece.
Colour temperature
The two LED light sources in the lamp have a colour temperature of 3000 Kelvin. To give you an idea of what 3000 Kelvin means in terms of light colour, you’ll find a scale below showing different colour temperatures. The indicator shows where 3,000 Kelvin sits on this scale, known as warm white light, ideal for a cosy and inviting atmosphere at home.

French Cleat Mounting System
This lamp is designed with a French cleat mounting system, a smart, reliable method that ensures your lamp hangs securely and level on the wall.
How does it work?
The system consists of two parts: a wall cleat that you attach to the wall with screws, and a matching cleat fixed to the back of the lamp. Once the wall cleat is level, simply hook the lamp into place. The lamp then sits flush against the wall, without any visible mounting marks.
What’s included?
This lamp comes with the wall cleat included, along with all mounting hardware. With a spirit level, a pencil and a drill, you’ll have the lamp safely mounted on the wall within minutes.
Connection & Power Cable
The lamp comes with a two-pole connector for direct connection to 230V. It’s designed for direct connection to a fixed wall power point, the traditional way wall lamps are wired.
Prefer to connect via a wall socket?
That’s possible too. If there’s no fixed connection point available, or if you’d like to be able to move the lamp around, a standard power cable can be added. You can select this at the top of this page, just before adding the lamp to your cart. This is a standard black plastic power cable with a black plug.
I also offer stylish fabric cables. These cables combine functionality with a warm look that suits the character of the lamp. The fabric cables are available in various colours, so you can choose whichever suits your interior best.

Keeping your lamp beautiful
- Place in a room with humidity between 35% and 60% RH
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- Remove dust with a dry cloth
- Do not use harsh cleaning products or water
